Goodwood Lodge is a care and education facility, where children from the age ranges of 0 to five years old are cared for and encouraged to learn through play and a carefully structured routine. The Foundation Stage is the curriculum set by the Education for babies to five year olds and this is the curriculum we use to plan and meet individual needs.
The foundation stage is based on four key principles which embrace and acknowledge the areas of development and are titled

The environment plays a key role in supporting and extending children’s development and learning.

Children develop and learn in different ways and at different ways and at different rates. All areas of learning are equally important and inter connected.
